This is pretty straightforward, but we're always looking for ways to improve.
What happens at a startup?
Folks do a few things in common when it comes to standups. Generally, everyone's sharing some sort of update and sometime questions are asked and answered. It's not a show-and-tell of work, but sometime work is referred to in context.
How do you get that all into Clew? A few block types come handy for this:
Conversation blocks
can be used to let everyone post their updates, you could have another one for questions.
Todo blocks
can be used to present items for discussions or recording work that needs to be kept track of.
Note blocks
, Embed blocks
and Data blocks
can be used to embed any referenced digital work or to write plans out in more detail.
Ideally you create a new view every day, and you can defiantly do that. We're a small team, so we create one view per week and track all our daily standups within in it.
All this allows you to have an async conversation around the actual work, leave reference such that everyone can get to the information they need easily. Finally, it's also super easy to later go through older stand ups.
